Hotels near Hampton Convention Center & Ramada Inn quality?

Hello.





In November, I will be going to a convention there but I have sort of a problem. I will only have one person with me who is the age of 18 so most of my choices are limited. As for the Ramada well I was looking at the prices which aren't bad but then I got to the reviews...I was wondering if anyone has stayed here and the reviews live up to their title? If anyone could suggest some close places with low rates and usable for someone of 18, that'd be great!

With the exception of the new Embassy Suites hotel which is attached to the Convention Center, all the hotels and motels in the area around the Convention Center and Coliseum are complete dumps. They have catered to people going to concerts at the Coliseum who only care about cheap and not quality for so many years that none of them have had any money put into them. Many of them have even changed names over the years to confuse people.





Either look at the Embassy Suites, the Crown Plaza downtown, or to Norfolk if you want to stay somewhere decent.
