Depending on what type of hotels you like, you either have many options or a few. Most of the hotels at Hampton are pretty old, so I wouldn't expect a fancy modern room. For me, old is fine as long as its clean. If you want top of the line rooms then i would look into the Ashworth, but its REALLY pricey. I've been going to Hampton for many years and have seen different hotel rooms, so i would suggest looking into: Hampton House Hotel, Kentville, Grandview, and Pelham.
I stay at the Pelham and the rooms are moderately priced. The rooms inside the main building are older, but clean. The apartment rooms in the back near the pool are newer. The owners really care about your stay and will go out of their way to help you, so i would suggest the Pelham above the other hotels.

Before booking any room though, i would strongly suggest reading reviews on tripadvisor because with some of the hotels, you never really know what the room/service experience is going to be like.

For restaurants, there's a good number of them, most are pretty good so its really up to what kind of food you like or are in the mood for. I recently ate at this new restaurant called 7A Street Bar and Grill and they had pretty good food and nice portions for the price.
The closest mall to Hampton Beach is the Fox Run mall up in Newington, about a 20 to 25 min car ride. Its not a HUGE mall, but has a good number of stores and a movie theater which comes in handy for a rainy day.

Any hotels to do in the Hampton's ?
So my friends step dad's uncle (ha ha stay with me here) owns a hotel in new Jersey. And my friend and I were going to stay in the hotel and like go to new york city almost every day and shop and w/e. But we also wanted to go to the Hampton's too. Does anyone know where we could stay? It would be over the summer time for the Hampton's and winter time for new york/ Jersey. Also can anyone tell me what type of events there are in the Hampton's? hmm well I live in East Hampton.. there are only b%26amp;b's here..all the hotels are in Montauk which is part of East Hampton..you should look some up...and there really isn't much to do here besides shopping and going to the beach I don't see why people like coming here so much...none of the locals can..just email if you have any questions about ';the hamptons'; i guess.

I understand that Hilton Inn ownes Hampton Inns. Do you know anyone who works in Human Resources for one of these companies? If so, I need an e-mail address...so I can file a complaint. Ashworth by the Sea is definitely the nicest hotel at Hampton Beach. It was recently renovated 2 or 3 yrs ago so its modern, fancy, and pretty upscale. It can get pricey though, upwards of $300 a night so I hope you considered that.

We are having a lot of trouble picking a hotel for our April hotel stay in St. Louis. We have stayed at the Hampton Inn %26amp; Suites hotel previously and had excellent service and the rooms were better than expected and this time we have a two queen bed suite for $139.00 per night.
The Drury Inn now has a Zoo package, a brand new hotel in Forest Park, for $99.00 per night, with a upgrade to a suite (not guaranteed unless available) with 60 minutes free long distance a night that Hampton does not have.
The only thing is we have stayed at Hampton before and really enjoyed our stay and know what to expect next time, but you just can not beat the rate Drury has either, but the suite is not guaranteed, we do not know what to do, any advice?Which hotel should we pick, Drury or Hampton?

In November, I will be going to a convention there but I have sort of a problem. I will only have one person with me who is the age of 18 so most of my choices are limited. As for the Ramada well I was looking at the prices which aren't bad but then I got to the reviews...I was wondering if anyone has stayed here and the reviews live up to their title? If anyone could suggest some close places with low rates and usable for someone of 18, that'd be great!

They have catered to people going to concerts at the Coliseum who only care about cheap and not quality for so many years that none of them have had any money put into them. Many of them have even changed names over the years to confuse people.
Either look at the Embassy Suites, the Crown Plaza downtown, or to Norfolk if you want to stay somewhere decent.

If it's near Stacy Jane's or Wally's, on the street parallel to Ocean blvd, that would be Ashworth Avenue. There are a few little hotels/motels/motor inns in that small area. Although I live nearby, I haven't been to the beach in a year so I can't tell you the name of the place you're looking for. However, I found a web site that lists the places to stay.

We are going on a cruise in April next year but we have got 2 nights before staying at the Hampton Inn Hotel, Florida. I know its quite close to Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure which we plan on visiting but roughly how far is it in terms of cab fare/travelling time etc??Staying at th Hampton Inn Hotel, Florida. $15.00-$20.00 cab fare, each way. Orlando is really spread out, and even though milage wise it isn't that great of a distance, getting to the taxi drop off area, of Universal can sometimes take a little bit of manuvering. But that isn't bad when you think that parking is $11.00 a day, and this will cut off half of your walk due to where the drop off point is.

Costco. They have almost anything and everything there. Those are good, but if I were you, I would make them myself. Except using english muffins instead of bagels. It's easy.
Set the oven to 300 Degrees
Take a muffin.
Cut it in half.
Spread pizza sauce al over the tops of the halves.
Sprinkle your favorite kind of cheese on
Stick it in the oven for 18-22 minutes
Take them out and let them cool for 2 min.

I work as a housekeeping at Hampton hotel ,and we discovered our supervisor is keeping all the tips because?
becuase she is the first that check the rooms ,also we put a trick (false tip) in one bedroom to discovered her and she admited that she is taking all the tips,but she says that also de Manager is taking all tips that we got on credit cards by customers . we told The manager about the tips she is taking that supousely is for us that make the hard work for a minimun wage and he told us do not mention that issue any more or we will end up losing or Jobs , i was wondering if there is any Government department that we can protest anonimously because we don't want to lose our Jobs , and if is legal that tips are keeping by supervisors and managers and credit cards tips too .

The Sheraton is the only hotel I know right there, however if you go northwest about 2 miles on Colorado Blvd there are a range of hotel/motels in the area, or if you go east to the Cherry Creek district there are nice hotels. If it was my first time in the city, I would really try to find a decent hotel in Manhattan. Even if you have to pay a little more.
I work right near the Meadowlands....and the area in general is not that great as far as fun activities. The hotel you are thinking about is in a safe enough area, you just don't get the same feeling as being in nyc. It's all business and highways in every direction.
Location wise....I don't know if you are driving or what. But there are trains or buses that can take you into the city. So it's not like it's in a bad location.What do you think about Hampton Inn Carlstadt-At The Meadowlands hotel?
You should look into the La Quinta on Queens Blvd. It may be Queens but its nice and safe and a block away from the train which in less than 10 mins has you in Times Square

If you were to do the hotel yourself you'll need to make sure you have a system where you actually show up on reservation booking systems like, travelocity, orbitz, other internet hotel reservation systems, travel agencies, etc. It helps also to have a good market (for example: a hotel located outside of a military base which has basic training graduations every Friday, such as Ft. Jackson in Columbia SC, etc).

i like them both and think it depends on which city you are visiting. the new hampton inns are very nice while the older ones are not so great. courtyard marriott seems very consistent, clean, no frills, decent place to stay. hope this helps
If the Hampton Inn is a newer version, then it is generally more comfortable and a better breakfast. However, they're usually a little more expensive than the Courtyards. Courtyards are nice enough, but usually a smidge older, and more towards the business traveler. They take your credit card information so that if you happen to back out of the reservation too late (say an hour before you need to check in, rather than calling 24 hours in advance, depending on their policy), they can charge you 50 dollars or what not for losing your business. So... back to your age question, as long as you're old enough to have a credit card, you're definitely set to go. But since you're asking how old you have to be, I could make a guess and say that you aren't old enough to have a credit card.
